Today is Tuesday July 15th, and Tucumcari is over with. After breakfast, we were on our way to Roswell( if you don’t know, the UFOs?) Anyway, we got to Roswell after a short power nap for the three people that weren’t driving. Once we got to the top of the big hill about 3/4 of the way there, there was an amazing view of the 5 mile straight shot ahead. Then we got to the end and before we knew it we were in Roswell. I thought it would be a tiny little town. Heh heh I WAS WRONG. Roswell is a big town with alot of restaurants and we ate at one called Farley’s. It was a very good place to eat at and the atmosphere was cool. After we ate we visited the The International UFO Museum and Research Center.

It talked about the Roswell Incident with the UFO crash in New Mexico. Then we were on our way to Socorro. When we got to Socorro we enjoyed a relaxing evening with pizza and the hotel pool. Chow!

Dear David, Susan, Jared and Colin,
I just checked up on your trip and have enjoyed reading your entries and viewing your pictures! I think it is awesome that you are doing this blog – quite an educational experience for ALL! As Jared and Colin’s first grade teacher I am especially proud of you both, as well as your writing skills – GREAT work!!
